Laser Engraving Services

Precision engraving and marking on wood, plastic, metal, stone, and glass.

What is Laser Engraving?

Laser engraving uses a focused laser beam to burn designs, text, and images into materials. It can score the surface to darken and detail the wood, or cut all the way through thinner materials (up to about 1/8"). The result is sharp, clean, and permanent.

The big advantage over CNC routing? Precision on fine details. A CNC uses a circular bit, so inside corners always have a slight radius. A laser gets perfectly sharp corners and can reproduce incredibly fine detail — photos, intricate patterns, tiny text. It's ideal for branding, signage, promotional items, and decorative work.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can you laser engrave?
We engrave on wood, plastic, metal, stone, glass, leather, and coated materials like water bottles. For water bottles, the laser burns off the coating to reveal the metal underneath.
What's the maximum size for laser engraving?
Our main laser has a 12 inch by 24 inch cutting surface. We also have access to a larger 4 foot by 8 foot laser for bigger projects.
Can the laser cut all the way through material?
We can cut through material up to about an eighth of an inch thick. For thicker material, we use the laser for engraving and scoring, and the CNC router for cutting.
What's the difference between laser engraving and CNC routing?
Lasers produce sharper inside corners and finer detail — great for text, logos, and intricate patterns. CNC routing handles thicker materials and larger pieces. Many projects use both.
